Candle Making Kit

Are you looking for activities to keep you or a friend entertained during lock down and learn a new skill? Would you like to support women affected by domestic violence to rebuild their lives?

We’re excited to launch our brand new candle making kits with materials and instructions to make two beautiful eco-soy vegan scented candles. Each candle making kit sold will also fund a place for a survivor of domestic violence at candle making workshop, forming part of a wider art therapy programme.

Each kit makes:
1 travel candle
1 LUX LUZ signature candle

Each kit includes:
1 20cl internally white jar
1 glass travel candle jar with lid
Eco-soy wax
Fragrance oil (choose from Fig, Lime & Basil or Coconut and Vanilla)*
Wicks
Wick centering tools**
Safety labels
Lux Luz stickers
Illustrated instructions sheet full of our top tips for successful candle making

What you will need:
Large saucepan
Small sauce pan or candle pouring jug
Wooden spoon
Hob
Measuring scales

100% of our profits are given to projects supporting women affected by domestic violence or reinvested in the business.

Environment:
30% consumer recycled cardboard box. Jar and box suitable for recycling once clean, or dispose of in accordance with local regulations.

Burning Instructions:
Trim wick to 4-5mm before lighting to ensure a clean burn. Keep the candle free of any foreign materials including matches and wick trimmings. Only burn the candles on a level, fire resistant surface at least 8 cm apart. Do not burn for more than 2 hours (travel candle) or 4 hours (signature candle) at a time.
